EBikes

EBikes are one of the fast growing areas here at ride it cycles. The bottom line is they are amazing in so many ways and can appeal to everyone. There is a common misconception that they are cheating but what is cheating ? EBike riding is its own thing in its own right and doesn’t really compare to any other cycling discipline. If you struggle with hills they allow you to ride. If you can already ride, they allow you to ride further and faster.

Our Hybrid bike range allow people to commute quickly and easily and for some it enables them to cycle to places they weren’t able to get to before. There are so many beautiful areas around us to explore and with an ebike your able to explore without worrying about the hills. If your cycling more with an ebike than you would have before then your getting more exercise therefore its a good thing.

The mountain bikes are a whole different thing. If you don’t have a lot of time these emtb’s can allow you to cover twice the distance you would have done on your normal bike and most of us are out to enjoy time on the trails. They can allow you to ride further and faster than you can on your non e bike and again, explore new areas.

EBikes will assist you with anything from 40% -300% of the effort you put in which means you can ride further making your ride better value for money and time efficient or making shorter journeys a less sweaty experience. New studies prove what we’ve been saying for a long time which is you can use the same amount of effort with an ebike but just get more done and what’s not to like about that.

We have demo ebikes here in the shop and our bikes range from £999. They come in all shapes and sizes from small folding, low step through frames, mountain bike and drop bar road bikes. If you haven’t tried one and your interested then pop in the shop for a chat and try one out.

Remember we also participate with several cycle to work schemes which can save you anything from 25% - 40% off any bike including ebikes!
